PENGUINS OF THE WORLD
 

There are four penguins in the Spheniscus genera,
 including our own Jackass (or African) Penguin

GALAPAGOS PENGUIN
(Spheniscus mendiculus)

The Galapagos Penguin breeds on the Galapagos Islands
 on the equator, and into the northern hemisphere.

 The penguin is endangered with as few as 800 breeding pairs.
It is a small penguin, standing 45 cm tall and weighing around 2 kgs.
