Macaroni Penguin


A medium sized (65 cm to 75 cm) resident in the Antarctic and subantarctic. A very rare vagrant to South African waters
Of interest, the penguin is named after the Macaroni Dandies, young men in the 18th century in USA who wore feathers in their caps.
