The Northern Royal Albatross breeds on Chatham Island and New Zealand
The Southern Royal Albatross is far more wide ranging

A very large bird (107 cm to 122 cm) generally found in the seas around New Zealand. A vagrant to SA waters.  It ranges the circumpolar southern oceans.
