| A huge water bird (about 140 cm to 180 cm) which is found along the coast and larger inland waters. Common throughout Southern Africa, and found in the rest of Africa south of the Sahara. Also found in southern Europe, Central Asia. A good flier who flies in V formation. Main food is fish and crustaceans. | |
