| A medium bird (about 53 cm) found in Africa south of the Sahara. In southern Africa it is found along the Caprivi, in the Okavango, the Zambesi, the Limpopo, and along the east coast. An uncommon to rare resident, normally solitary or in pairs, it lives off fish, frogs and reptiles. | |
