| A large stork (about 122 cm) found in Africa from the south to as far north as Kenya. It is a separate population from those in North Africa and Eurasia. In Southern Africa it is a uncommon to rare resident found in the higher regions. It is normally solitary or in pairs and is found near rivers and dams. The main diet is fish, but the stork also eats small mammals and frogs. | |
