Roberts VI considered this a separate species, Yellow-billed Kite (Milvus parasitus),
but this bird is now regarded as a sub species of Black Kite

A medium to large bird (55 cm), previously considered a separate species, but now included as a spp of the Black Kite. It is a common breeding migrant found over most of southern Africa, returning to Equatorial Africa for the winter. It inhabits woodland and semi-arid savanna and is a highly maneuverable bird. It eats almost anything including carrion.
