| A large bird (about 80cm), found in Africa south of the Sahara. In southern Africa it is a fairly common resident in reserves throughout except Lesotho and SW Cape. Its habitat is woodland, savanna or grassland with clumps of trees. It eats birds, mammals up to the size of duiker, and reptiles. | |
