| A small bird (about 15 cm) found in Africa south of the Sahara to the eastern Zimbabwe. In southern Africa it is a locally fairly common breeding migrant found only in eastern Zimbabwe. It inhabits drier open grasslands subjected to seasonal flooding. It is a solitary bird which flies strongly and runs swiftly. It mainly eats seeds. | |
