| A smallish bird (about 22 cm) found in Africa south of the Sahara. In southern Africa it is a locally common breeding migrant found in the eastern and northern parts of the region. It is a solitary bird inhabiting vleis and reed beds. It lives off seeds, flowers, insects and mollusks. | |
