| A medium bird ( 56 to 60 cm), endemic to Southern Africa, a fairly common resident to the south western parts of the region. It is usually found in pairs or small groups and inhabits the Karoo and semi desert areas. It feeds on insects and other invertebrates, small reptiles and plant material. | |
