| A medium bird (about 50 cm) distributed from South Africa through Angola to Zambia. In Southern Africa it is a common resident found in the northerly parts. It is usually solitary or in pairs, inhabiting the savannah and semi desert grassland. It lives off arthropods, seeds, fruit and grain. | |
