| The largest of the Eupodotis species (58 to 65 cm ), it is found in Africa south of the Sahara. In southern Africa it is an uncommon resident found in the north eastern parts. It inhabits bushveld and savanna grassland, and is found singly or in pairs. It feeds on insects and plants. | |
