Rare Vagrant
A very small bird (14-16 mm) which breeds in northern Siberia. Generally migrates to southern Asia and Australia, but is a very rare vagrant to southern Africa (few sightings). It inhabits the shores of coastal and inland waters and lives off aquatic invertebrates
