| A small dove (19 to 20 cm), found in southern and eastern Africa. In southern Africa it is a common resident absent from south west Cape and drier west. It inhabits woodland and Acacia scrub and is usually solitary or in pairs. It feeds off seeds, berries and flying ants. | |
