| A smallish bird (24 to 27 cm), found in Africa, Arabia and Madagascar. In southern Africa it is very common in the drier areas, but scarce on the eastern side. It normally inhabits dry thornveld and is usually solitary or in pairs. It lives off small seeds. | |
