| A large parrot (33 to 35 cm), found in Africa south of the Sahara. In southern Africa it is a locally common nomadic resident found in the east, south-east and the Caprivi. It inhabits evergreen and riverine forests and is found in small flocks. It lives off berries and fruit. | |
