| A smallish parrot (21 to 23 cm), found in Africa south of the Sahara, excluding the west. In southern Africa it is a common and widespread resident found in the central northern areas. In inhabits savanna woodland and is found in pairs or small groups. It lives off nuts, fruit kernels and grain. | |
