A large bird (45 to 47 cm), found in southern and eastern Africa. It is a fairly common resident found in the Caprivi, and south and east parts of southern Africa. It is a solitary bird, also found in small groups, and inhabits evergreen and riverine forests. It lives off fruit, insects and earthworms.
