| A medium bird ( 33 to 34 cm), found in southern Asia and Africa. Three sub-species are found in southern Africa, two common non breeding migrants, and one a common breeding migrant. It is solitary and inhabits thornveld and savanna. It eats caterpillars and termite alates. | |
