| A medium bird (about 38 cm) breeding in Europe, Asia and north Africa. In southern Africa it is an uncommon non breeding migrant found in the central and eastern parts. It is a solitary bird, inhabiting woodland and coastal bush. It mainly eats hairy caterpillars. | |
