| A large bird (43 to 47 cm), found in Africa south of the Sahara, and southern Arabia. It is a common resident found throughout southern Africa. It has a wide range of habitats including rocky areas, woodlands and forest edges. It is nocturnal and is solitary or in pairs. It feeds off arthropods and birds. | |
