A small bird (33 cm) with a long tail found in Africa south of the Sahara. It is a common resident of the southern and eastern parts of southern Africa. It is gregarious in small flocks, and inhabits the bushveld, dense vegetation and gardens.  It eats fruit , seeds and insects.
