| A large bird (33 to 38 cm), found from Zululand to Gabon, eastern Zaire and Kenya. In southern Africa it is a locally common intra African breeding migrant found in the north and east. It is highly gregarious (flocks of hundreds of birds), and inhabits lowveld river valleys with vertical banks. It eats large flying insects. | ||
