| A medium bird (48 to 60 cm), found in Africa from the south to the northeast. It is a common resident in the northern parts of southern Africa, and inhabits bushveld, woodland savanna and arid thornveld. It is solitary or in pairs and mainly lives off rodents and insects. | |
