A smallish to medium bird (16 to 17 cm), confined to the Ngoye forest in Kwa Zulu Natal, and the Rondo plateau in Tanzania. It lives in the canopy of evergreen forest and is found singly or in pairs. It eats fruit (figs), insects and slugs.
