| A medium to small bird ( 19 to 20 cm) found in Africa south of the Sahara. It is a widespread but sparse resident in southern Africa, although absent from the drier west. It is usually solitary, inhabiting woodland and savanna. It eats insects (bees) and beeswax. | |
