| A medium bird (14 to 16 cm) found from South Africa to East Africa and Eritrea. It is a common resident of the north eastern half of southern Africa. It inhabits acacia savanna and coastal scrub. It is normally found in pairs and eats insects and the nectar of aloes. | |
