A small bird with a long tail (10 plus 5 cm), found in Africa south of the Sahara. It is a common resident of the moister eastern half of southern Africa, and inhabits rank grass, weeds or bushes. It is usually found in pairs and is quite tame. It lives off insects and nectar.
