| A small bird (12-14 cm), an endemic found in the eastern Cape, through KwaZulu Natal to the northern Transvaal at the higher altitudes. Previously considered a sub-species of the Spotted (Karoo) Prinia R686), it is a common bird inhabiting forest edges and wooded gullies. It is usually in pairs and eats small insects. | |
