ARNOT'S CHAT

(Myrmecocichla arnoti)

A smallish bird (18 cms) found in Africa from South Africa through to Tanzania. It is a locally common resident of the eastern Transvaal, Zimbabwe and eastern Botswana. It inhabits well developed woodland and in normally found in pairs or small groups. It feeds on insects and spiders.
