| A large sunbird (24 to 26 cm), distributed from South Africa to Ethiopia. It is a common resident of the Cape, Free State and Transvaal and parts of Natal. It inhabits scrubby hillsides and is usually solitary or in pairs. It feeds off nectar, insects and spiders. | |
