| A medium bird ( 23 to 24 cm), breeding in Europe and Asia and migrating to Africa. and India. In southern Africa it is fairly common but is absent from the drier west. It frequents scrub, savanna, bushveld and is usually solitary. It eats insects and fruit. | |
