| A smallish bird (15 cm), distributed from South Africa to East Africa. It is an uncommon resident of the eastern lowlands from Durban northwards, the Okavango and the Zambezi Rivers. It inhabits reedbeds and is gregarious at all times. It eats seeds and grain. | |
